Diane's children's book, “Calliope:  The Story of a Police Horse During the Blitz", is a historical fiction, written from the perspective of a heroic horse.

Calliope is a horse, but not an ordinary horse. She’s a Metropolitan Police horse working in London during WWII. While Nazi bombers terrorize the city, this brave mare demonstrates the courage behind the now famous motto “Keep Calm and Carry On”.
